The Tremont Collingwood Grand Re-Opening

The Tremont re-opened its doors on Friday September 17th.  The lady in red is Nora (Armitage) Paisley. The young lady in the tan sweater is Theresa Armitage. Their father bought Tremont House in 1936 and ran it as a hotel until 1952. He was originally from Shawville, Quebec and met their mother when he came to Collingwood to work at the shipyard. Their mother was was Kathleen Simmons, born in Collingwood; the Simmons family lived at Sunset Point.
