There are 5 great fundraising events coming to Collingwood to help raise funds for the Nottawasaga Lighthouse. Starting with the sale of Paula's Pantry Lighthouse cookies on March 21.
Launch party for an Andrew Peycha limited edition print - Nottawasaga Lighthouse on March 28 from 7 to 9 pm at The Huron Club. Prints are $125.00 each, unframed. Each print is on acid free paper and fade resistant ink has been used. Only 200 prints will be available. Print size is 18" x18" . After March 28, prints will be available at Georgian Frame Gallery, Skelton Galleries, The Loft Gallery in Thornbury and on-line.
The first Yard Sale of the year will be held at the Collingwood Youth Centre at 76 First St in Collingwood on Saturday April 8 from 8 am to 1 pm. Proceeds towards restoration of the Nottawasaga Lighthouse. To donate, good useable items phone 705-443-7664 or email Items may be dropped off at the Youth Centre between 9 am and 7 pm on Friday, April 7.
Tattoo Day in Collingwood is on Saturday, May 27. Come out to one of the three tattoo parlours in town, Collingwood Tattoo Company, Steel n Ink or Idols and Anchors and get your ink on in support of the Nottawasaga Lighthouse. Tattoos are only $50 with half going to the NLPS. Choose from a variety of nautical designs. The event runs from 11 am to 7 pm. Be adventurous. "get a tat" and support the Lighthouse.
